On 25 June 2016 the Netherlands Education Support Office in China organized an award ceremony for the Chinese grantees of the so-called "Orange Tulip Scholarships" (OTS). The University Medical Center Groningen made a full scholarship available to talented Chinese students to enroll in our research master Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology (CPE). The winner of our OTS is Du Jing, who starts with the CPE program in September this year.
Du Jing received her prize from another University of Groningen alumnus, prof. Richard de Grijs, who holds an appointment as a full professor at the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics of Beijing University since 2009.

Also in 2017, the UMCG will make full scholarships available to the most talented students from all over the world. Some of these scholarships will be published as OTS, available in NESO countries China, Brazil, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, and Thailand.
