Strategic Partners

International Partnerships

We strongly believe that only a truly international research environment will guarantee cutting-edge research. International collaborations in turn will only flourish if they exist in an environment of shared interests and mutual trust.

ATTP was designed to tailor to exactly this need: strengthen our network of institutional partnerships and improve the quality of our educational program and research output. The Graduate School of Medical Sciences currently focuses on international collaborations in Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, and Mexico. Currently, the following partners in the tables below are officially listed. With these institutions we set up a scheme of international student and staff exchange, joint funding programs, publications and seminars as well as the joint supervision of young research talent.

Award Policy Sandwich PhD program

The Graduate School of Medical Sciences has a limited number of ATTP sandwich PhD positions available. The 2017 award policy favors those universities listed as ATTP strategic partners and spin-off of GSMS-coordinated activities.

At all times does the GSMS retain the right to change or deviate from its standard award policies.

Instruction on how to apply are available in this section of our website.
